Helia Bidad is a J.D. candidate at Yale Law School. Her interest in environmental work is rooted in her Iranian heritage. She is passionate about using litigation and policy to advance environmental justice, particularly as it relates to injustices in the food system. Prior to law school, she worked in environmental justice organizing and philanthropic environmental consulting in the San Francisco Bay Area. She received her B.S. in Society and Environment from the University of California, Berkeley. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, yoga, rollerskating, and cooking.
